Malibu Coconut Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and blended with coconut and sugar. The brand is owned by one of the world's largest spirits producers, Pernod Ricard.
Currently produced in Canada, Malibu Coconut rum was originally made in Curaçao from fruit spirits flavored with coconut and rum. The original recipe was developed as a shortcut for bartenders making Piña Coladas, however today the stands on its own.

Definitely not in my sipping pile. I only drink this with coke if they have nothing else.

Ce rhum tres connu n est pas un rhum de degustation.mais il a des qualites en melange avec des jus de fruits.le cote coco est tres present .l ensemble est tres ducre et doux.note degustation 3 .note en mix 6.

Really sweet. I like it better for sipping than bacardi Coco.
Don't really see it as a rum, more a liqueur, it only has 21% of alcohol.
Too sweet when mixed with Coke, i like it on the Rocks or as a mixer.
Tip: mix with orange juice and a splash of pineapple juice.
As a rum 4/10

Classical rum for cocktails but also enjoyed with coke. Strong coconut note, very sweet.

I used to love this rum when I was very young and didnt know better. Now its okay. Ill drink it if its the only thing in the house. :)

This "rum" is good in drinks..not straight... must be mixed.

As far as flavored rums go, I seem to like coconut and orange best. So I looked forward to this rum, but it let me down. It was just too weak; both in flavor and it alcohol.
Barely has a nose, with just a hint of coconut. Tastes of watered down coconut rum. Not for me, but if you prefer rums that you can easily drink straight, perhaps you'll like this more than me.
