Kraken Black Spiced

Pretty terrible on its own, like most spiced rums or cheap stuff, but for whatever reason, Kraken really agrees with me as my rum&coke mixer, add a lime wedge and enjoy. I initially bought it because the bottle looked cool, but now I’ve gone through easily 25 bottles per year over the last three years!

Rhum épicé très accessible en gout pour un néophyte. Un gout de Caramel très facile pour une approche du rhum en douceur.

Aromas of spices and chocolate, quite sweet in taste. Not a bad one

Far too much spice flavoring added for not much body. Not unpleasant and decent in some simple cocktails but never my first choice.

First you taste the caramel then comes the rest and alcohol , nice smooth full body taste for spiced . The more you drink the better ... First time i drink half bottle and it was perfect !!!

Too Sweet for me, it grows in your mouth in a wrong way.
Will never buy this again for sure

It's good but at the end of the day it's a lower quality version of Baron Samedi. I buy it when there is not Baron on the shelf.

(...) Otherwise we wouldn't even finish it back at times. Forgot more details, sadly. The rum was about average quality, maybe better as mixer/blender than sipper. Back then we thought we are drinking something top-tier and expensive, ha...

Bof, je ne suis pas fan, dans la catégorie je préfère de loin le magic black.

I remember when this came out and their whole gimmick was that it’s black rum. Marketing. Bottle. Decent if your making a drink that calls for black rum, but there’s better alternatives.
