Not bad for a spiced rum. Better than the mass marketed grocery store ones.
This is something I like to sip on when my palate is already blown but I still want something to drink neat. It is sweet, liqueur-like and pleasant, not a life-changing rum but nice enough. (I also got a killer deal from an Atlanta area retailer, $17 for a 1.75 ltr - which is about the usual price for a 750!).
Interesting spiced rum. It is in between the lighter and darker spiced rums. The caramel comes through. I like to mix with cola.
This is almost like a liquor to me. I put this in the freezer and sip it after dinner when I need something sweet. Strong caramel notes and vanilla. VERY smooth.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Had some good reviews, so I tried to. I'm not unhappy with the purchase as I was extremely curious, but the rum isn't fantastic. It's reminiscent of Kraken, but a little more.... soapy? They claim flavors of "anise, vanilla, banana, cherry, nutmeg and orange peels". I would have been happy with just two or three of those. I just can't think of a situation I would prefer this over Kraken. I'm giving it a 6, unlike Kraken which I gave an 8 (I believed), because it's not offensive. There is strong vanilla, it makes a decent rum and coke, but that soapy flavor... Not offensive, I just don't understand why anyone would want this flavor.
