Actually quite good and smooth for 57% abv give it a try
Aroma: to my amazement I noticed sweet aroma mostly vanilla.
Taste: again to my amazement I did not noticed thos 57% of alcohol, tu rum tasted almost like forest (in our country we have alcohol by name of "BOROVIÄŚKA").
Overall: this was great rum, I have no other words, yes it is little bit stronger than I was used to, but still great experience. Maybe another bottle with price about 40 € to add to your and mine bar.
Nice color, good taste, and nice finish, good, 7/10

Shiny amber in the glass.
In the nose a little sour and full of tannins. Mossy soil from the fir forest, resinous toasted woods, lightly caramelized woods and freshly chopped wood leave little room for the lovely tones.
On the palate, the 57.2% is not recognizable as such, yet claws its way into the tongue. Unfortunately, the flavor density is a bit weaker than expected. Some caramel, some sugar cane, some wood and done.
In the finish, a slight burning and a slight bitterness remains.
A Navi strong rum that is sure to find its friends. For all those who live in the Southern Hemisphere and explorers.
Has changed the label.

Had just a sample of this 5yo Navy Strength rum that’s a blend of Pot and Column Still distillates from the Beenligh Distillery, Australia.
In nose the strength doesn’t really come through. It’s pleasant an I recognize mostly toffee and vanilla.
On the palate the strength is quite noticeable. I recognize a certain fruitiness together with earlier mentioned aromas. The quite long finish goes on in the same way and it’s mostly the toffee and vanilla I recognize.
Overall a good and strong rum that’s rich with a certain warmth that I shouldn’t hesitate to have more of.
Picture: My emptied sample poured in a glass.
As a whisky enthousiast dabbling into the world of rum. This is my fourth sample and the first one to my liking. Seriously considering picking up a bottle
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
