Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Decent legs, good tropical aroma with some heat coming through. Soft and semi-smooth on the palate with some wood to finish.

the best cuba libre you can make is with the havana club 7.
Very smooth and sweet. Nice in the summertime!

I tried it with water and a couple of ice cubes. It was smooth enough but didn't have the nice flavor of the Appletons and El Dorado rums I have tried.

Havana Club 7-year was my introduction to the rum world, and as such I have remained quite partial to it. It's very pleasant to sip.

I'm no professional so I can't tell you much about the body and these things. But I think it's the perfect rum for a round of Cuba Libres with friends.

This was my first actaul rum experience through which I started appreciating to drink rum. After a few good other bottles in the same price range I tasted it again and was quite dissapointed, it is not mild enough to keep up with the others.
Delicious when mixed. I prefer with coke. Do not like straight.

Yeah title says it all, disclaimer I only drink rum neat, so if mixing is your thing this rum might make sense otherwise no, no, rather drink bacardi straight, no I wouldn’t do that either, yeah bacardi and this should just relabel from rum to stuff for mixing like sour mix
