Definately a great rum I like its mildness but for the price it might need to be even a bit better.

Ron Zacapa 23 Solera

Mild and slightly sweet In terms of price / quality ration this is my overall winner so far. Straight, for some maybe a bit too sweet but still very good.

Angostura 1919 8-year

nice vanillaish Because of its vanilla flavour maybe not a good choice for all occasions but as a replacement for a dessert a good one.

Malecon Reserva Imperial 18-year

Mild Everything a rum should have, mild not such a strong taste, easy to drink

Dictador Solera Distillery Icon Reserve 20-year

good but too vanillae Very mild rum, that has a sweet overall taste. Definatley a fine one, but for me personally the vanilla-flavor in it is too strong.

Cuate Anejo Gran Reserva

Pure taste Mild and full in taste. No big extra tastes, just pure, good and honest rum.

Centenario 20-year

Too sweet A bit too sweet for me to grant it with eight bottles but it is still undeniable a good rum.

Don Papa Small Batch

Vanilla smell I like the Vanilla smell which is so strong that it is almost artificial, tasted a slight citrus flavor.

Way too bitter for my taste Definitely a very unique rum - but for me not in a good way. I don't mind so much it's dark color but the taste reminds me of a bitte liquer. Obviousl

Pyrat XO Reserve

very heavy rum It has a floury and strong flavour, not too sweet, overall a bit too dense for me.

Botucal Reserva Exclusiva

Good rum but not for me Definitely a good rum but it has a smoky taste in it which I am generally not very fond of.

Strong Citrus smell Has a strong citrus smell, the orangy taste is almost spicy, also tasted some cummin.

El Ron Prohibido Gran Reserva 15-year

Not magnificent Found it tough to figure out the taste as it is quite neutral, rather on the sweet side of rums.

Dos Maderas 5+3

For the price too bad I like the bottle and the concept of the rum but unfortunately it does not work out too well. Spicy but not in a good way.

Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-year

Only remember that I was dissapointed and would not buy it again Too long ago to quite remember it, but I think it had too much of an ethanolic taste to me.
