Flor de Caña Gran Reserva 7-Year

This rum is good yet I would not choose it primarily for sipping neat due to it's slightly edgy character. An ice cube may help to dilute the alcohol feeling (even though me and my friends drank it mostly neat and enjoyed it). I don't mix so I can't say how it works there, but it must work as an exceptionally great mixer as it is not very sweet and remains strong. So you can sip it if you are ready for some edge, but within Flor de Caña I would definitely reach for the wonderful 12 year old.

Realy good taste. You should try it. Don't suit everyone but I realy like it.

It has the oaky finish and a little harsh because of the young age,but it is an excellent daily sipper,which won't hurt your finances too much. Nice Nicaraguan,i prefer the 12yo tho

Dry and balance esay to enjoy this rum on the rocks, but is not complex enough to justify sipping. Better for Cuba Libres and mixed drinks.

For me, nothing special about this rum...pretty flat..drinkable with coke..will have to try another Flor.

De 12j is beter om puur te drinken. maar de 7j is zeker niet slecht is nog beter als je er een heel klein beetje cola bij doe 2 cl is goe

Good every occasion rum. Good sweet taste, not too strong. Good on the rocks or Cuba libre.

On ne se trompe pas avec ce rhum. Bon rapport qualité et prix. Je l'achète souvent. Un petit gout de noisette grillée de caramel.
