This one is really a solid rum. Great taste, though a bit bold when mixed with cola than I prefer if I'm having more than 1 drink.
I think at this price point, this is one of the better choices you can make. This was my regular drinking rum for a while, as it just about competes with some of the more expensive rums, but doesn't cost a whole lot of money. This one is much better tasting to me than the 4 year variety, slightly sweet and fairly smooth drinking. I have since replaced this as my regular drinking rum with Plantation 5 Year, but this one is still good.
Absolutely not my taste, bitter, heavy with a unpleasant nose
With some pineapple juice and mint, shaken with ice made for a very tasty treat. Any of the Flor De Cana flavors were masked by the pineapple. Will continue to experiment to bring out the best in this rum.
The 7 year Flor de Cana is a nice step up from their 4 year, both are good dry rums.
Moc dobrej rumik z Nikaragui. Příjemná a vyvážená chuť. Sladká vůně se naštěstí nepropisuje do chuti.
It’s ok. Got a nice agricole freshness to it, and the flowers are pretty well balanced, but on the whole there’s not much going on.
I bought a bottle for $5 in Honduras and even at prices back in the U.S this is still a really good choice for mixing. For those who like drier rums, this could be a decent sipper at a pinch, but not one for those who like sweeter rums.
This is a great every day rum. It is good by itself or as a mixer. Very reasonably priced for the quality.
starts out pretty good. not so sweet as many others. but something bitter in the after taste which I dislike. i had the 5yo and was given the 7yo but cannot really keep them apart from each other. price is key here both 5 and 7yo are very cheap.
It smells reasonably “boozy”. You still get notes of good oak ageing.
"The finish is overall quite bitter almost like dark chocolate."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

If this didn’t light your mouth on fire with an overwhelming alcohol burn you might notice a semblance of a flavor profile. Unfortunately the only thing I could think of was how to put out the raging bonfire this rum lit on my tonsils.
