Rum lacked flavour or complexity. Seemed sharp and acerbic.

This is initially a little harsh on the tongue, but it soon mellows into smokey, woody flavours as the burn fades. Not at all sweet, almost like an Islay malt on the palate. Tasty.
Ya con un lindo color y un sabor aceptable pero quema un poco!!! Aún así, sabe bien solo con hielo y agua tónica.
This rum is a great rum from the minute i opened it. Carmel in coller and tast. I will be adding to this as i tast more.

Hatte mir viel mehr von dem Flor de Cana 12 Years versprochen. Dieser war sehr gewöhnlich für das Alter.

Seemed dominated by alcohol, could have been good based on underlying flavours - but ultimately disappointing for the money...

My favorite that I have tried of the Flor de Canas so far. Really good with a splash of coke and bitters.

Bit too much of alcohol taste, otherwise pleasant aroma and after taste.
Edit one year later: plus one point! Delicious!
