Nicaragua. I just didn't like this rum. I get a really strong banana/ester flavor for it that I find off-putting.

For this price or less there are way better rums. The nose is pleasant. A bit fruity. The taste is pretty different though. It's dry, a little bit sweet and quite oaky, I guess. Left it in the glass for a while, but that didn't change much. Not my favorite kind of rum.

I like it. Very smooth sipping rum. I put one ice cube in here and it's delicious.

Letting it breath for a few minutes... and sip it up slowly... very good dry rum. I had it first on Corn Island, Nicaragua... perfect combo..

Have tasted the 7-year,12 yrs and 18yr. Found the 18yr more subtle, well balanced than the 12yr. Maybe because we visited the distillery in Nicaragua and we're at Puro Sabor that I love this rum. There are better rums, no doubt about it. But this one brings a smile on my face. It is well balanced, smooth and not sweet as rums can be.

Dry with a few flavors. Ended up being a great mixer. Can't say I'd buy again.

Nice bottle, but for an aged rum I was expecting more depth.

I've always love Flor De Cana, and am finding it increasingly difficult to acquire this in my location. I'll be back in Mexico this year and plan on getting my hands on the 25. I prefer to drink it straight up.

Best qpr I'm for the fdc offerings. Smooth, not overly sweet. Very enjoyable.

We purchased this in the Cancun duty free last year. I enjoy sipping aged rums for their complexity and am a fan of aged "Anejos" (redundant I know). Therefore, I really like the Flor de Cana brand but think, while the 18-year old de Cana is more complex, the 7-year is a better value. This year, I plan on bring back more 7-year and will look for the 12-year as well.
