La Mauny Spiced

Visited the La Mauny distillery while vacationing in Martinique. Comprehensive distillery tour with an open tasting bar. La Mauny Spiced was priced at EUR 12 at the distillery. Fresh bottle and label design. Super dry Rhum Agricole flavors alongside grass, spices and floral notes to the nose and palate. Strong burn at the end. Rhum Agricole fan boys can add 2 points to my score.

I do love a good spiced rum. Which is a shame, because after drinking so many over the years, I've come to find some wonderful ones, and some average ones like this. It's ok, but nothing special.

C est un tres bon rhum epicée qui se marie a la perfection au coca avec des epices et du boisé qui se marie parfaitement au coca.A croire que ce rhum a été créé pour ce mélange.
Note en mélange coca 8.5 ; en ti punch moins bon car trop sucre et le boisé reste trop present .pour moi note ti punch 6.5.preferez en ti punch le sailor jerry de tres loin.note en degusration pur 6.2 trop ducre et boise bien pour la longueur et les epices et en martinique 7 e c top a ce prix.
Note globale 6.9.

Best spiced rum I have drank. It's diffrent, long aftertaste, a lot of spiced, very long aftertaste, full body, balanced, fine nuance. Over all, it's best spiced rum.
