Borgoe 15-Year

my daughter brought me this borgoe 15 year. This really the one to buy and the only one. the 8 year one is pale compared to the 15 year aged.

I love it, it's hard to come by where I live. Was one of the first rum's I drank. It's well rounded a bit on the sweet side and has a little burn when it goes down.

Eher herb mit viel würzigen Holz und Leder Noten und leicht rauchig im Abgang.
Nach und nach gesellt sich in der nase feiner Duft von Bienenwachs dazu.

Borgoe 15 years is a nice rum for sipping. It is sweet with vanilla taste, a bit strong.

The rum is very expensive (in the Netherlands), and for that price you can by better rums

I bought this when I was on vacation with the family.
Nice dark color, the nose is soft sweet and fruity. Tast is great.

Brought to me by a friend Who went to Suriname. Like the bottle, like the colour, sadly don't like how it tastes. Not my kind of rum, there's a strange smell wich I also taste and it's a no go for me. Gave the bottle to a whisky-drinking friend and he liked it! As I expected.
