Tout simplement parfait. Doux, complexe, goût de caramel et banane. Il va directement dans mes favoris, j'aurai toujours cette bouteille en inventaire.
It’s basically one of the best value sipping rums , smooth and rich in the palate a good mouth feel caramel vanilla and gentle spice , added sugar yes but over ice hard to beat for double the money.
Whilst Reserva familia is in my opinion better this is a safe and easy introduction to sipping rums
No smell. No taste. Sugar syrup, at best. Even homemade liquers are less cloying. The only thing pleasing is its sweetness and soft numbing in mouth and on your tongue. For me, it was barely drinkable. Not as terrible as Zacapa 23, but still... Okay, it was smooth and easily downed, but felt like drinking "liquid sugarcubes" or something.
A smooth flavoursome rum, easily sipped over ice, and not too expensive to mix either.

The combination of Color, Aroma and Flavor make this Rum a Special Spirit.
Very affordable for a great sipping rum. If you are just beginning sipping rum, this is the one to start with.
I dont know the lingo yet but its smooth warm and a hint of spice. Very good.
I have about 15 rums in my collection and I’ll admit I like them on the sweet side, but it was the smoothness of this when sipping neat that blew my mind. No need for any ice and no burn.
I still have a couple to open but this is the perfect benchmark.

In the glass, the rum is dark mahogany brown, co doubt thanks to a heavy dose of caramel coloring.
The nose is pancakes, toffee, burnt sugar, wood polish, leather - quite pleasant in fact.
The taste is major downer, however - a super sweet concoction, like drinking cola syrup, with faint wood influence and meek burn. Overpowering vanilla taste, cola, candy, brown sugar, tiramisu, maple syrup. It's like drinking liquid candy.
This is a liqueur, through and through, and I would not have a problem with it if only it was marketed transparently. The taste is not unpleasant, if you like candy, it just does not taste like rum at all.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
