Venezuela | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot Still

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molassis in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.

Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

Balení: hezká butýlka akorát do ruky. Výborné je, že i po vyprázdnění obsahu vypadá pořád moc pěkně.
Kdo má rád sladší rumy, je to klasika která nesmí chybět v žádné sbírce. A kdo se chce rumům věnovat, měl by být jedním z prvních na seznamu. Je sladký do karamelu, jemný, chutná i ženským a kvalita naprosto odpovídá ceně. Nechá se popíjet celý večer.

Everybody's thi one got me on rum kind.
Sweet velvety with toffee and brown sugar.
Long lasting flavor.
One of my all time favorites.

Great sipper, not too hot. Someone inadvertently mixed with Coke, it was very good, but this is too good to mix. Keep it as a sipper on the rocks.

Zpočátku mě tenhle rum přišel celkem průměrný. Každá další sklenička mě ale přesvědčila že se mýlím. Moc dobrý rum s moc fajnovým vaňavým ocáskem

Pas aussi impressionnant que sa réputation mais assez bon quand même. Ca dépanne. Souvent ce qu'il y a de mieux au supermarché. Sans risque ni surprise.

bottle 9, glass 9, aroma 8, taste 7-8, aftertaste 8. Very smooth, exclusive sweetness - not syrupy but toffee-butter-caramel like. Mouthfell follows the nose. By my opinion the best is on room temperature and very small sips

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.

"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."
