Dictador Solera Ultra Premium Reserve 12-Year

While it doesn't match the complexity and longevity of it's older brother, it is still worth buying. The Dictador range has a distinct taste to it - not quite as sweet as a lot of the crowd pleasers out there. Hints of citrus and liquorice.

Excellent rum with a nice citrus taste and finish. Very sippable.

Well, this one was made just for me. Smooth abd mellow, oily palate. Spices, cinammon, honey on nose. Great.

De beaux arômes de caramel, fruits à coque, le tout tenu par une note boisée longue en bouche. Assez sec dans l'ensemble. Belle prestation.

Spicy scent but rather neutral, well rounded taste.

Un rhum avec des notes de bois fumé, de café et de fruits torréfiés. Il a son identité!
Pas forcément à mon gout, mais joli rhum tout de même!

First taste tonight so I'll have to give it some time to see how I really like it. Love the packaging, very smooth rum, not too sweet, almost a burnt sugar aftertaste. I will be going back for more soon.

J'ai trouvé dans cette quille, une legere note de café, plutot ambré light, une belle réussite colombienne.
