In my opinion the best flavoured rum! On the nose and taste clear, genuine hints of pineapple, however not as predominant and sweet as in most other flavoured rums. Great rum for sipping or in a tropical cocktail.
I think this one surprises most people. I enjoy this rum to much to have it any other way than as a sipper. (I don't want to hide its delicious pineapple flavor). If you are a fan of plantation dark rum and pineapple - this one takes the cake. The strong pineapple flavor is sweet - but not too sweet- with not hint of artificial flavors. The plantation original dark rum provides the perfect back bone with a subtly funky flavor that lingers nicely.
I dont think I will mix much with this one.
Pineapple nose is beauty but not to strong, taste is excellent with strong pineapple you can feel. Hard to product that kind of rum. 8 like mark is more than right
The pineapple in this is more on the nose and the aftertaste rather than on the tongue. It's there and very refreshing, giving the rum a slightly exotic, tangier than normal feel, but to all intents and purposes this is a traditional rum with a slight twist. I like it. It's fun and I imagine people who didn't drink much rum would enjoy both the quality of the actual rum - dark, molasses with a bit of caramel sweetness - enjoyable as well as finding the pineapple interesting. It's a reasonable price.
In addition, this maybe a bridge into traditional rum for those who think they like only spiced rum.
Saw this at Binny’s and thought I’d give it a try. First sip you can taste a hint of pineapple and it is definitely not artificial tasting. Mixed well with coke and also mixed well with some orange juice.
Good flower and good taste. The bottle was quick emty. I will bye a new one.
I never would have thought I'd be recommending a pineapple flavoured rum, let alone rating it so highly. Probably the biggest surprise I've had in a while, such a good flavour with just a hint of pineapple, not overpowering at all. Well priced too!
Good taste!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sweet, ok to have 1 straight but best used in cocktails
The nose is sweet but not overly so.
"Smells very much of fresh pineapple as opposed to sweetened tinned pineapple."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is how rum does pineapple.
The Nose gives you pineapple with molasses singing back-up. As far as the palate... re-read the nose description.
Can be sipped, but instead make an outstanding piña colada that will make you legend among your friends.
