Chairman’s Reserve Spiced

It reminds me mouthwash at first and was dissaponted , but became nice spiced rum with balanced and tasty flavor .

This is a heavily spiced/flavored rum. Perhaps too much. Unfortunately one of the predominate flavors I taste is cloves.

I hate cloves.

I do also detect citrus and figgy undertones. A hint of cinnamon & nutmeg as well. Other spices and flavors that I cannot readily identify.

I honestly cannot give this more than a 4 however I clearly see the best use for this is in some mulled cider variant during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Others clearly like this more than I but I offer my opinion as is.

Wannabe don papa, nose is pepsi, taste is super sweet and syrupy, viscosity is thick finish is cinnamony (note I love st lucia rum, just not this one)

I don't know what this smells like - Christmas chocolate box maybe. Orange and spice and Lots of sugar.
Tastewise, I don't think I can taste rum at all! Just sugar and spice. It's like I'm drinking confectionery!
Reading the reviews, I thought this would be on a different planet to Kraken, but you know, I think I prefer that.
I bought this to take a friend's wedding, and I figure he will enjoy it, which is just as well as I won't be touchibg it!

I am not a fan.
Appearance: amber
Aroma: Clementine oranges
Flavor: gaaaahhhhhh this tastes to me like orange triaminic cough syrup that has been laced with white pepper and garnished with a wedge or red bell pepper. NO NO NO.
I am guessing that one in 37 people will also have this response.

I honestly didn't thought I will dislike Rum in this price range so much.
Not sure which spice is not liked by my palate so much, but it's there. Neat - it's overly sweet and spiced, you barely can taste a cigar.
Most probably some people will enjoy this rum in cocktails, but I was dissapointed a lot even though I like spiced rums.
Highly recommend try before buying full bottle.
For me 1/10.

Jeg var fornyligt til rom smagning med Masterblender Søren Beyer og som sidste rom havde han denne med, bare lugten var nok til, at jeg ikke skulle have den i munden ;-)
EN helt igennem modbydelig lugt.

I have tasted some Xmas punches that have less cinnamon in them. The nose and taste are so overwhelmed by it that it's barely drinkable even with an orange slice in it, so it went straight into the kitchen sink.
The worst spiced rum I have bought so far.
