Perfect choice.
Nice color and sweet taste. Caramel, coffee, fruity notes from the sherry cask... Long aftertaste

This is definitely a tasty rum, but unfortunately it's just a little too oaky for my taste.

Really delicious! Extremely good rum, not as good as the 2000, but hard to distinguish. You'd be hard put to find a better sipping rum!

One if the best rums, fantastic smell and taste. To be honest I cannot differentiate between 2001x 2000. The only price limits in regular sipping.

The nose is quite sweet but not overpoweringly so.

"It leads into a spicy mid palate containing quite a lot of complexity. Again the oak spice is there though it is slightly bitter, there are hints of raisin, all spice and an almost Christmas pudding like note, zesty orange and cinnamon."
