Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

a decent rum (and I'm being lenient with that term) for a night when you plan to drink a lot but don't have much money but still want a little bit of flavor. I remember my teenage days when I thought this was good stuff because television told me so. You're probably older now too, you don't need to be drinking this anymore either.

I'm from the country where most the population was grown on "rums" made of sugar beet. It's quite understandable that people are not much into these. But with popularization of Cpt. it's becoming different. Sure, it's far from aged classics, but as an entrance gate to this beautiful world it's good enough. Taste is nothing extra, but it's still good plan B. if they don't have any other rum in the pub I'm currently at

Ce rhum est ideal en ti punch et a un tres bon gout vanille et de canelle leger.il a toutefois un final un peu amer qui ne lui permet pas d etre bu seul.si vs cherchez de quoi faire des ti punch sur une grosse soiree.un premier rhum pour debuter les cocktails.

Nice mixer. The added vanilla gives a nice touch when mixed with cola. Good for its price
Nit to bad, softer compared to bacardi oakheart, nice in a coke

The title just about says it all. Low alcohol, easily drinkable. Sweet like candy. Not deserving of a particularly in-depth review.

Captain Morgan is an average spiced rum with sweetness that goes with the blended spices flavors of cloves, nutmeg,cinamamon, etc. There is a vanilla-like taste and feel in the mouth. If you like them on the sweet side, this rum is worth a try. Nice at Christmas (winter)
