Nadpis byl jednoduchý. Takový prostě je. Když máte kvalitní produkt, nepotřebujete ho krýt cukrem. Oproti Doorlys XO má navíc k chuti dřeva také výraznou sherry složku. Je mnohem jemnější než stejně tak úžasný Dos Maderas PX 5+5. U Maderasu mám pocit, že se právě krylo cukrem, ale dávám oběma 9b a to jen proto, že může ještě někde čekat 10tka.
Pleasant but not too saturated aroma. Good fact is that - this Rum are “honest” to you, and I guess have no sugar add. When you taste it, you got little bit burn in your mouth, but not more than it need.
In my opinion this Doorlys 12y is not Rum with very deep and long taste, when I compared it with others. So that’s why I give only 7 this time.
But, I will buy it again for sure.

Слегка жгучестей на язык, в этом даже есть свой плюс. Но в тоже время он не слишком резкий. Сбалансированный. Ром качественный, но благодаря моему опыту могу сказать что уступает многим ромам в «глубине» вкуса, если вы понимайте о чем я. Вкус хороший, но поверхностный. По этой причине 7
Приятное ощущение, что нету лишнего сахара в роме.
Barbados means good rum and you expect nothing less from foursquare. This 12 is fruity and delicious. Although I favour the el dorado 12 on the sip this is almost as nice
Good for an agricole (lol) - dry...aromatic...tastes like the Caribbean :)
Strong, not sweet, well balanced. A rum with an intense aroma and a piquant spiciness in the taste. Very full-bodied, little sweetness and a long finish. One of my favs!

After reading all the ratings decided to go out and buy one. I agree with most, a beautiful rum. Just enough sweetness, bit dry and a delicious taste. Very curious about the other brands from Richard Seale. Going to be in my collection!!
This is one of my go to corn n' oil rums. Tastes like I remember the old school Dove Bars tasting, back before they made the chocolate shell all thin and crappy, but way rummier. Balanced vanilla and wood dominates the flavor for me and the aroma is like one of those super expensive shampoos that you get in overwater bungalows in Bora-Bora. Mix 2 ounces with a half ounce of John D Taylor Falernum, a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters and a squeeze of lime to taste. Put on a wide brimmed straw hat.
This make a decent benchmark rum for me because it is pretty near the middle in terms of sweetness-dryness, but high on oak. I'd say it was a fraction over the line towards dryness, but not by much - you get some sweetness in the dried fruit to balance this out. There's also a hint of bourbon and sherry from the casks that are used - you can taste both which is a nice balancing between sweet and dry, with dry just winning.
There not that much on the nose - oak and molasses, but the aftertaste is long and rich and a little bit leathery.
I'll happily drink this but I can't love it the way I do a good Eldorado - it's not just that that isn't as sweet, but also that it isn't as rich and complex. But I do prefer this to the XO - it is smoother and more refined.
Amber, almond, affection. No need to travel to Barbados. I’m holding it in my glass.
Familiar notes of vanilla and light toffee/caramel.

Just a bit deeper that the XO, which is also fantastic. I'm not about the sugar and additive controversy, but what a great way to show the industry how it's done without them. Another home run from Seale, Foursquare, Doorlys.
