Bottle purchased at Lost State Distilling. This is labeled Batch 01 and is 96 proof. I’m told it was aged for 2 years in a bourbon barrel. Pours light gold. Now I absolutely love the Silver as the panella sugar used makes a quasi- agricole/cachasa delightful potion. In this case, I think aging this particular rum, especially in something so loud as a bourbon cask, really detracts from the magical nature of the fantastic Silver Rum they make. Perhaps a longer time in the barrel will make for something worthwhile? I’ll look forward to trying that.
