Podla mna podhodnoteny rum. Patry urcite medzi tie sladsie ale zdaleka nie tak ako A.H.RIISE. Prijemny neskrabe sladky dozvuk.
Krásná vůně. Opravdu krásná. Chuť je sladší, hodně po medu a karamelu. Výborný rum z Brazílie.
Nice flavour. Smells like sweat horse or something, not really unpleasant. Tastes little bit sweet. Nothing exceptional but good.
Zajímavé překvapení. Od Brazilského rumu jsem příliš neočekával, proto mě velmi překvapil. Rozumná hranice sladkosti.
This one was a pure gold firme. After first smell and taste I simply fell in love. Rich in taste but very smooth and pure. Fantasy, recommendable even for those who are not so into rums.
Hodne sladky s karamelem, jde dat jednoho a pak uz je to moc sladke
Medový, respektive karamelový rum na nedělní dopoledne.
Na rozrozdíl od jiných brazilských bez stop chuti zemědělských rumů. Klasický sladký rum, s trochou hořkosti dřeva na konci. Jen vůně je divná, trochu nahnilá, snad i připálená.
Santos Dumont XO Rum er en lækker sød og fyldig rom, hvor man oplever indtryk af bl.a. vanille og kokos.
Awful nasty synthetic sugary note.

I had just a sample for this test, so it’s just a first impression.
Santos Dumont XO is a Brazilian rum produced from freshly pressed sugar cane honey by the Danish company A.H. Riise. It’s distilled in pot stills and then aged in different types of barrels before blended.
Haven’t found any age statement, but they call it XO which probably means that it’s at least 6yo.
The name Santos Dumont comes from a World Famous Aviation pioneer, back in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. His father Henri Dumont was known as the Coffee King of Brazil.
From nose to finish it’s possible to recognize coconut, honey, banana as well as other fruits and of course lots of sweetness (It’s an A.H.Riise).
Even though I’m not a fan of sweetened rum this is quite OK, maybe because it’s produced from sugar cane honey in pot stills and that that gives it another profile.
