La Hechicera Extra Anejo

Very dark in color but it stayed balanced. Its on the dryer side of rum. Not as dry as seale's but more than most. There is nothing offputing. The oak comes through on the finish. It wouldn't be my first choice but if I saw it at a bar it would be worth considering having again.

It has a nice brown color in the glass. Smell and taste is pretty. Has a small burn, but that's not a bad thing.

Rich and complex on the nose, creamy caramel and slight tropical notes on the palate. Good finish with little heat. This may become my house sipping rum - great quality/price ratio.

Found this in London recently, good tasting straight mixing causes this to loose some subtle flavors.

Tried at a local bar. It was awful. Even with coke. Somthing was smelling very bad inside. Never again.

Eye: Golden light brown.
Nose: Sweetness, dusty-wooden.
Mouth: Alcohol, wooden barrel, low on sugar. Soft.
- A good rum, got some to offer. With some edge, low on sweetness.

Ive only had a few quality rums, but this one is my favorite. Not as sweet as dictador, which i prefer.

I don't know many rums from Columbia however this one i certainly can recommend. Not much alcohol aroma, nor very smooth however this is for me a honest product. Nice bottle.
