Brugal Anejo rum is a blend of rums aged 3 to 5 years in used American white Oak barrels that previously held whiskey and bourbon.
The rum is produced in the Dominican Republic by Brugal & Co., a company that was founded in the late 1800s by the Spaniard Andrés Brugal Montaner. Today, the Brugal rum company remains largely in the control of Montaner's direct descendants.

Better than bacardis and havanas for my liking, but nothing special
This one is best in mixers. It’s an ok sipping rum, but there is so much better stuff out there

Veľmi liehová chuť po prehlutnutí. Ani v drinku mi to nechutilo.
I might also be a little biased, this was my first contact with darker rhums back in, oh, 2005, maybe.. Very pleasant and smooth, goes perfectly with cola, and doesnt necesseraly need ice. Always a safe choice and price-quality ratio is excellent!

Best for mixing in cocktails or with cola. Not a rhum to drink pure.

Exellent for mixing.
I did manage to get through the bottle though so it can't of been too bad.

The kind of rum you put in shooter glass in a party.
Fair enough but don't try to impress people with it
Nice square bottle
Dark shade liquid
Low odor
Sweet beginning taste
Oak, bitter mid taste
Short after taste

Beh... è un Brugal giovane, che c'é da aspettarsi?
Secco.
Alcolico.
Forte.
Bruciante (per i non allenati).
Rum non proprio da degustare. Senza segreti. Da "shot".
E questo, a mio avviso, è il suo punto forte: la semplicità.
Quando si ha voglia di bere qualcosa di diretto, senza viaggi mentali, solo uno schiaffone che ti svegli e ti faccia tornar "Uomo"...... Brugal.
Rum sincero.
