Aroma is very weak - slight flower and mint tones. Taste is very smooth and light with vanilla, oak and toffe, but not complex. Aftertaste is only average long. Easy to drink, but the taste is in 50-75USD bottle level :-( I'm happy, that I was able to get only sample and don' wasted my money...
Enjoyed some Brugal Papa Andres while in St Louis. Unique bright yellow case surrounding the bottle. Includes a very childish booklet. Very nice flower theme carved on the bottle itself. Separate cork with a similar flower theme. The numbered bottle is on the booklet and not on the bottle itself. Golden amber color. Deep oak, leather and plenty of dried fruits and more sherries to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Surprisingly dry burn at the end. Strong eight for sure, but nowhere close to a ten in my books.

Hodnota tohoto rumů do max 2000 Kč, AE 21 chuťově lepší
What can I say. €100 for 4cl. And my word it was worth it. I don’t have the words to discribe how good it was. If you can try it try it because it’s like no rum I’ve tasted befor.
Notes of caramel, raisins, oak, chocolate. Very smooth with no burn, goes down like water. Worth every penny
The sad thing about this rum, is not that it is bad. But that fact that you might a well buy the regular Anejo. Obviously there are slight differences, but not enough to justify the price. Dissapointing

Very good, but I actually prefer the Brugal Leyenda to this 9 out of 10
First of all, many thanks to Joola69 for sharing this VERY expensive bottle with me (~$1500) as part of a rare rum exchange.
This is a very nice rum. I prefer it to the Brugal Siglo de Oro, and if you like that one, I suspect you'll love this.
But it costs 25x more than the Brugal Leyenda, which I liked even more.
Very smooth at 40%abv, and super easy drinking, but a bit dry for my liking.
Again, very easy to drink. Smells and tastes of vanilla, oak, leather, tobacco, molasses, and raisins. A very good rum, but not quite worth the money (to me).
