T酶r rom. Lidt s酶dme. Ok til prisen.
Very balanced flavor from start to finish.
By far, Brugal's best rum. Very high quality reserve for a high yielding producer. Deep bananna, oak, and cherry flavors. A little abraisive on the tounge at first. I prefer it on the rocks, but can be straight up. Bordrline very dry.
This a very good complex dry rum, with no added sugar and so none of the sweet doctored-up taste of so many of the "Z" rums (Zaya, Zacapa, Zafra). This is what rum should taste like - woody, smoky, leathery. A little on the pricey side and not one I would drink every day, but a nice bottle to own if you like that flavor profile.
Amber color, vanilla, creme br没l茅e, light spice. Opened up with 1 ice cube
Having had a multitude of Brugal's offerings, I must say Brugal 1888 is hands down the best I've ever had from Brugal. The sherry cask finish gives it a great rounded finish.
Very nice rum.
Une bonne dose de vanille.
Great vanilla taste
Very complex rum. A very good top shelf rum. Different then a typical rum with a bourbon, sherry, scotch type taste to it. Very drinkable and very smooth.
2nd best brugal after siglo di oro love the color
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

($48) This one I鈥檝e been looking forward to for a long time. Popping the cork, I know I鈥檓 going to love it. It smells sweet of the Brugal floral note I鈥檝e come to love and even some woody oak tones as well. Very enticing.
The initial flavour is that of a classic Dominican rum with some long oak finish. The finish lasts long as bits of sherry come up to meet you, long after you鈥檝e taken a sip.
Leather, tobacco and a sherry finish. I鈥檓 thinking a cigar would go amazingly well with this.
After the second tasting, the cork broke apart. Luckily I keep some old corks. If not for this cork issue, it would be a 10.
