Mount Gay Black Barrel

Tento rum mne velmi mile překvapil svojí jemnou drsností a přitom výbornou chutí. Jeho hodně pomalý nástup a dlouhý dozvuk chutě dřeva sudu je podle mne výjimečný. Barbados je prostě ostrov rumu zaslíbený a tento rum se opravdu povedl.

Anyone who reads my blog will know that I'm not the greatest mount gay fan , however this is an exemption delicious as a rum and coke and lovely delicate notes ... Not strong in flavour but everything you want from a mixer rum with caramel and spices... The best rum and coke money can buy

A little spicy with vanilla, burnt toffee. An excellent sipper with some strength, but assertive would be a better term. Very well done.

I like this rum .. good with coke .. not too heavy and not too heavily flavored

Lots of flavours and aromas

Taste is reminiscent of honey and almonds, but very understated. A slight bite, but not harsh. Excellent for sipping.

I had tried this the first time visiting my son and commented that it was harsh. Six months later on another visit and this time I really liked this rum. I usually prefer to drink most rums on the rocks and I did mix this one but I have to say I am buying a bottle for myself. It is not too sweet and with little afterburn. I recommend giving it a try.

A beautiful colour and love the branding of the bottle.The name gives it some secrecy that makes me imagine it comes off a pirate ship. Rich,smooth flavour and
a slightly sweet nose. The alcohol comes in with good strength that makes it all come together. I enjoy the traditional cocktail or sipping it slowly. This rum can be enjoyed in many ways. A must have for my bar.
