Plantaardige geur, zacht in de mond, pittige afdronk.
Straw colored rum that has aged for 2 years. Smooth for the amount of time in barrels, this rum has hints of molasses, nuts, banana and vanilla. Just a touch of a burn from the spiciness and alcohol.
Nice rum to mix in fruity drinks especially where the strong banana flavor can be subdued and paired well. This rum can also be sipped as well making for a versatile rum from Barbados.
Unfortunately, this rum is no longer being produced!
Wonderfully sweet and flavoursome. Prefer it straight but equally good as a mixer.
This was recommended to my wife by a salesperson the day she decided to buy me a bottle of rum. We had recently enjoyed a Cuba Libre while on a trip to Washington D.C., coincidentally at Cuba Libre. It was good and didn't last long. We tried a few others and I soon began my more in-depth "research" into the world of rum. Even though this is "recommendable to most" I have not seen it in several years and do not believe it is available any longer.
My mate had this at the back of his cupboard. Not a sipper more of a mixer could possibly be good in a mixer but drinking straight or with ice it had too much of a burn for me
Lots of banana and vanilla flavors. I was fortunate enough to score a bottle of this before it disappeared from shelves a couple years ago (as did their Sugar Cane rum, which I was not able to find.)

Bottle gifted to me by Deedi 20 years ago. Yellow gold in color. Aroma sort of sawdust, woody. Flavor is not unlike a light Strega or Galliano- mild herbs. Lovely palate- thick but not chewy. Kind of a peppermint finish. Re-taste: has more sweetness than I gave it credit for.
