Quality rum, with some well balanced "hogo" flavours associated with some jamaican rums, and some orange peels and tobacco leafs notes. I personnally prefer the 12 years El Dorado but still good !

This one is quite a bit sweeter then the 21 year old Nassau casks. Moderate burn. Drinks very easy... too easy :). Quite a nice rum especially for the price!
I cracked the bottle and had a nip straight away and was disappointed but after letting it breathe for 20 minutes was much better. Nose of slight banana. On the taste side caramel apples banana and slight apricot not bad at all
Not sweet no added sugar, just a tasty good old rum
I didn't quite get the fruityness everyone's talking about around here. Not sweet, it has strong dark flavours, a nice burn and a lingering aftertaste that's not bad but a bit unbalanced. I believe it can work really well, but only if you're into all of the above.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

My journey has mainly been on the more expensive rums so take my comments with a grain of salt. First it tastes fine for the price point although many claim to find better for less. I enjoyed the aroma and taste of this rum. The light funk, spice/orange/banana were pleasant. Iβm going to take Paul Bβs suggestion and try the 8 year to see if the price difference is worth the taste. Happy sailing on your rum journey.
