Good flavor to it on the palate, with brown sugar notes, and some spice on the nose. The finish has a harsh alcohol burn, which isn't too surprising with it being 110 proof.

I found this rum to be tasty, but simply not a standout! Definite banana and spice flavors. The burn is present at the end but not overpowering.

Smooth at first. The flavor is there, but the alcohol burn is a bit much. I found it more enjoyable after letting a small amount breath, and adding just a bit of ice.

Good flavor complexity but a very harsh finish from the 110 proof alcohol content. Good if you like strong rums.

This rum has a strong kick to it’s finish. It has a wonderful nose that’s not too sweet. The taste is strong with notes of oak, spice, and fruit. The finish is strong, almost a little harsh, but is smooth and worth the burn.

Great nose. Strong rum but very smooth considering the bite. Banana, oak and spice. Some citrus lingering in the background. I like it. Great balance for 55.2%. Short finish or I would have given this an 8. Really another very good rum from Panama.
