Equiano consists of rums from Gray's distillery in Mauritius (10-Year rum aged in ex-Cognac French oak casks) and Foursquare Distillery in Barbados (8-Year rum aged in ex-Bourbon American white oak casks), which are blended at Foursquare Distillery.
Equiano is exclusively blended and bottled at Foursquare in Barbados.

Fruitiness largely hidden by a too much oak, not much aftertaste. An average one.

Nice taste, not too much alcohol aftertaste. Beautiful amber colour. Really liked it.

This rum had just a nice flavor with the nice woody notes with some of the raisin and carmelly tones. It was great neat an din a cocktail, and the fact that some of the profits go to anti-racist organizations is a plus.

This rum was a gem and a very nice surprise. Definitely worth the money.

Equiano - afro karibský kalibr. Foursquare tady má svůj podpis. Celkem dobře pitelný rum. Nicméně si myslím, že obsah lahve by měl mít jinou cenovku.

Real good combination of Mauricius and Barbados. Cocoa and caramel in aroma. Smooth start of the body and then Richard Seal's signature.

Nice and light aromas on the nose. Dry and lightly sweet on the tongue. Smooth finish with minimal burn. Definitely a nice sipper that’s full of flavor and easy to drink.
