If, like me, you don’t like spiced rum, you want to stick to rum that tastes like rum, not vanilla.
This is a fine rum-drinker’s rum. It’s a ‘suave,’ which is Spanish for smooth; and smooth it is!
It’s doesn’t have many other characteristics, but it doesn’t need them. There is nothing wrong with it. It’s a good rum (but probably still best for mixing/cocktails).
Léger et parfumé il est idéal pour des cocktails...
The smell is weird mostly of alcohol maybe a hint of vanilla or molasses. The taste is sweet at first you can taste the flavours of ingredients mentioned above. Maybe good for blends.
Sweet smelling, an almost red wine like note.
"Finish whilst reasonably long is very one dimensional, oaky and bitter."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Colour- caramel brown with light Amber flashes
Taste- vanilla notes with a slight hint of banana
Uses- perfect for cocktails but can also be drunk on the rocks in the sun while dreaming of sandy beaches
I first tried this rum as most people do in Cuba its available everywhere there, therefore its hard for me to rate it and not think of lovely warm beaches beatiful friendly people, oh and proposing to my wife, I was worried that when i bought a bottle put it in my case it would metomorphosize on the plane into undrinkable piss water like most holiday drinks do, but much to my pleasure it was still just as nice at home it is not a world beater but a great mixer and a good conversation starter.
