I had a friend pick this up in Sudbury for me. Waiting for a warm holiday weekend to try it. The nose is just too much grassy agricole for me. Once you get it past your nose, the taste is a bit better, sweet and fruity. I would have a hard time to sip this and with Coke it still has the Cachaca vibe. I will have to give it one last try mixed with juice. $35 at LCBO
In fact not that bad, grass in the nose, for sure a rhum agricole, but also apricot, peach... in the mix, for sure, but nice, bearing this in mind...
a very powerfull white rhum. nothing to lay back. salty taste of the sea. fresh.

This is a bloody good white frenchmen. It’s very fruity and aromatic, especially considering the pricing. Makes a killer ti’ punch but I can surely appriciate it neat as well. The nose blossoms with notes of mango, juicy pineapple, sliced cucumber in vinegar, cut grass and green bananas. The spirit is detectable but within reason. Sipping reveals the same fruity notes found in the nose but not quite as acidic. Initially there’s a natural sweetness to it, reminding me of freshly squeesed juice. This quickly fades into a dryer finish with notes of wood and white pepper. The mouthfeel is great and very full.
