Doorly's ABV43 12-Year

Very surprised by this Rum! As the first sip envelops my palette, I can taste the vanilla along with a charred smokiness. As the drink flows down the throat, I noticed a hint of Bourbon on the way out. Where some stones have sharp edges and so too with Rums, however this Rum has noticeably been honed and refined leaving a very smooth buttery finish. My Doorly's 12 year, such a pleasure and a great find. It is now one of my favorites. Though I first tried it neat. My best experience was over melted ice. I have not tried with a Cigar yet but hopefully soon. Enjoy!

Na večerní pití výborný. Trochu mi nesedlo aroma, ale výrazná chuť po bourbonu a vanilce vše vynahradila.

Za ty peníze je to super rum. Rozhodne sladší, je cítit po ovoci, karamelu a vanilce😉 kdo má rad sladší rumy za málo peněz tak super poměr cena/kvalita

Light and juicy. Decent rum for the price. Not a “do again” for me.

Love the bottles display value with a nice tropical look.

Nice light sweet caramel nose with hands of spiced baked apples.

Sweet for a Barbados rum. Light in color a little bit thin but a smooth finish with just enough lingering heat

Tento 12 ročný papagáj mi naozaj chuti, je to určite pekný posun od XO a kto má rád jemnejšiu chuť,tak mu zachutí možno i viac ako verzia 14YO. Pekne plný, ovocné tóny s náznakom dreva.

Standartní láhev, umělý korek, perfektní rum uvnitř

This is a solid great aged rum at normal strength. Has nice nose subdued but lingering island spices Medium dark brown so glad I tried it again. Dollar for dollar one of the best rums out there with no added sugars. Glad they kept the iconic Doorly’s brand and label.

Nice rum, especially considering price paid. Not too sweet, vanilla and wood flavors. Can't give it an 8 because the finish is somewhat short and it lacks a bit character.

You really need to rest this one (20 minutes should do the trick), before you drink it. At first it has that strong alcohol smell and even aftertaste. But after you relax it, it is a very very smooth rum. Great if you are planning to have few glasses, because it is incredibly easy to drink. Just dont expect that taste punch. It will never come. It is a decent rum, but its main advantage is just how easy you can drink it. No obstructions on its way. Just let it rest after you pour it.
