Berry Bros. & Rudd Jamaican 1977 rum is produced in Jamaica, likely distilled in a pot-still, and then aged in bourbon casks for 35-years.
The rum is bottled and sold by the Berry Bros. & Rudd wine merchants of 3 St James Street in London, which is Britain's oldest wine merchant established in the 1700's and has held this address in London since 1698.
Truly a fantastic choice
The potential esters in this are tamed by age into a smorgasboard of tropical fruits. It does have a sturdy body, though. Robust and strong at 60% or so. BIG rum.
