Brugal Anejo rum is a blend of rums aged 3 to 5 years in used American white Oak barrels that previously held whiskey and bourbon.
The rum is produced in the Dominican Republic by Brugal & Co., a company that was founded in the late 1800s by the Spaniard Andrés Brugal Montaner. Today, the Brugal rum company remains largely in the control of Montaner's direct descendants.

It makes a great mixer and I am a fan of Brugal rums, but this one is on their lower end.

At this you definitely have to try it, the taste and smell is sharper but interesting. price 14 eur

Smooth sweet taste of the islands,easy to find in Canada. Good price
This is a smooth easy rum that isn’t anything special, however is a nice “go to” when the higher end choices or resources are unavailable. All in all…… a decent rum.

nothing special, but solid, sweet, nice rum and cheap
This was my first ever. I liked it with coke, to sip i did not like it.
But it did get me interested in rum, so now i am looking to find a rum with more flavour and slight more sweetness.
Hope rumratings will help
Me discover that.

I'll give it 5 because its not the best tasting rum ever but I think is not that bad either, for the price its ok.

I really gave this one a try as a sipper but it just didn't win me over. I found it a bit too sweet and underwhelming in its taste profile. However, once added to a rum and coke it wasn't too bad. I'll use the rest of the bottle for this or use for mixes but definitely not as a sipper.
