Sailor Jerry Spiced

Waterish with spices . Mostly to use for cooking purposes and cocktails.

Sailor Jerry is my go to for a Cuba Libre. I can drink these all afternoon and into the night.

Title says it all. Also this one is ok to drink straight if you don't like to mix it with coke.

This is good woth black sails and cola. Taste is nice and easy to drink.

enjoyed this rum either straight or with coke. very mild with lots of vanilla. easy to drink very enjoyable. only improvement would be a bit of heat

While I prefer a nice dark rum to a spiced rum, I thought this was a pretty decent spiced rum. It has a sweet taste and goes down without too much bite. I prefer it mixed with cola, ginger beer, or ginger ale, but this rum is also ok for sipping as well.

I have a rum N coke Friday each Friday.... Go figure, any how this is my go to rum for mixing with Coke or with a squeeze of lime and some coke. Good stuff plus it beats the heck outta Captain Morgan, well not the Captain Morgan Reserve, that stuff is pretty tasty.

So, this is my first, and I'm drinking it now so this review might just be babble. I'm usually just a beer drinker but decided to take the plunge for my 22nd birthday and this was on sale at my local liquor place. I've tried about one shot of a variety things from bourbon to whiskey to wine to sake, and Jerry's 92 proof has a strong alcohol taste. Doing it neat, by the way; tried it on ice and I didn't like it watered down at all. Would like to try it with coke. As a complete firstcomer to more than about a shot of rum, I can't really taste much but the bitter alcohol going down, though it has a really pleasant vanilla aftertaste. Numbs the tongue and lips for a few seconds. 1/3 through, feel pretty dizzy, likely since I'm a lightweight but also it's some strong shit. I'll probably go for something a little fancier next time, but I'm enjoying my experience with the Sailor.
