Virgin Islands, U.S. | Spiced | 40% ABV
Sailor Jerry’s Spiced rum is crafted from a blend of Caribbean rums that are blended and infused with spices and other flavors including vanilla and cinnamon.
The rum is produced by Sailor Jerry Ltd., a company founded to honor the sailor-turned-tattoo artist, Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins.

Well, bit hyped up, but still one of the very fine spiced rums there. Very balanced, nice hint of vanilla in all that spices with almost no extra burn. Very good with Coke and splash of lime, nice evening sipper, but although too "balanced" for me. No adventure. No extra joy over the "good quality spiced rum" joy. But who can say no to the Sailor Jerry...
Don't have much to say that hasn't already been said. I personally Wouldn't recommend straight but actually really pretty Good with cola.
I find this rum falls a little flat once you start drinking superior rums. This is a rum to be drunk with cola or something whereby the consumer doesn't really get to appreciate what it is they're drinking. I loved this Rum for a year when I was moving over from Jack Daniels to rum but I find now after pushing my pallet this comes up flat and I dont entirely like it anymore... but it served a valuable purpose on my journey. Its a rum that commercial and cheap but OK all the same
Vanilla cupcakes! With frosting. That's all I get on the nose, along with a good kick of alcohol. Maybe the cupcakes were made in a kitchen that also bakes spiced goods? It's incredibly one-note.
On the tongue, the rum delivers the vanilla promised on the nose, with a bit of spice, but not much. It's rather sweet, and even a tad medicinal (not in a good way).
I'll be honest—spiced rums are not my forte. But even for what I tend to use them for—dessert topping, coffee correcting, baking, the odd mixed drink—the Sailor is still a bit of a last resort. Spiced rum is so easy to make, and more and more (good) spiced rums are hitting the market these days. It's disappointing to see a great artist's legacy tarnished this way (even if he liked the stuff).
Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. Good solid mixer.
my 2nd favourite rum after Havana Club 7. serve with pure apple juice (not concentrate) over ice
I don't usually drink that much spiced rum but I tried this one was presently surprised, a good go too
Well, the title says it all for me!
Clearly on the spiced side of Rums though manages to do so in a very descrete way. Good value for money, a fair alternative among low budget Rums.
I actually sip this occasionally (not much of a cocktail person), it's pretty nice for the price.

The rum smells very sweet.
"It is initially very sweet on the tip of the tongue but it soon becomes very bitter."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Good, but dry rum with cinamon, vanilla and cherry taste.
A little bit too dry for me but would be excellent in drinks when you want something different.
