Sailor Jerry Spiced

Solid cheaper spiced rum. If you like Captain Morgan, this will suit you well. Little more burn, but same vanilla flavor that'd pair well with coke or as a shot.

First rum i've ever tried, tho i bought it mostly for cooking. Not bad taste, tho it's not for drinking it neat. It has quite some burn, not very smooth. Still it turnes out that i prefer rum to most of the hard alcohols

My introduction to spiced rums many years ago, it’s a very nice basic rum with too much vanilla, still a great mixer for tiki beginners

I would compare it to Captain Morgan. Sweet vanilla and hint of oak fairly standard mid tier spiced rum. Good pick to go with a cola.

Within the Spiced Rum category, this is probably one of the better ones. It feels like they've used real rum and spices as the base.

Sweet, but not cloyingly so (for the category). Gingerbread spices, stewed fruits, maybe a touch of leather.

It's not a touch on real rum, but in the spiced category it's pretty solid.

I see its value among the other drinkers. It is indeed not bad, but not up to my taste, compared to other products out there. It is good, but not good enough. I would have good time drinkingit, if there is nothing better.

If you want a cheap rum..this is it. Not a sipping rum. When I was younger I bet this would have been an 8

I work in the entertaiment industrie for about 20yrs now. Believe it or not i dont drink alcohol. Not even a beer so maybe im not the one giving the wright opinion, but this one is the only drink i can drink with a smile. I think it has a fantastic texture and its drinkable. You really feel like Johnny Dep as Captain Jack Sparrow LOL

I only purchased 2 50ml bottles for about $5 and did not spend the money on a regular sized bottle. Not bad aroma mainly of vanilla but that was pretty much where the fun ended. Maybe as a mixer this works but I am not going to find out because if I want a spiced rum Captain Morgan private stock, Brinley Shipwrecked or Foursquare are similarly priced and certainly better.
