If you like a sweet, balanced Rum? This one should be your first choice.
For me it is one of the best I ever tasted.
Sweet and tasteful. This is definitely worth an investment for most aficionados.

A little bit too strong alcohol taste for me, I am not a fan. But the evolved taste of different spices har a really nice ring to it!

Ein spitzenprodukt, einer der besten Rums die ich bisher probiert habe. Dieser Rum sollte trotz dem hohen Preis in keiner Rumbar fehlen. Im Glas verbreitet er einen wunderbaren Geschmack, im Mund eine angenehme süsse. Der Rum schmeckt weich und rund nach Karamell, Vanille und Rosinen.

Karamelliseret banan, nødder, appelsin og en tung, tung sødme.
Smag
Krydderier omsvøbt at sødme fra dadler og figner, samt en anelse af brun farin.
Lang eftersmag som bliver ved i både hals og mund.

Beautiful color, the noze is very complexe, it takes a long oxygenation to detect hints of vanilla , honey, tropical fruit , smoked side of a cigar box. Once in the mouth, the roundness of this rum bursts to release its sweetness and reveal banana notes with a very smoky side but still reveals toffee. Sweet, sweet , sweet !
Great experience. I prefer the more robust rum but it's was a pleasure to taste this one for my birthday. I still have a problem with the design of the bottle. I don't like the square one and the character font, it's like a very bad trip in Mexico ;-) I I like the roundness of caribbean girls ;-) But it will be a 10.

Nose: Smells old. Leather, cigar boxes and incense (sandalwood, cedar, pot-pourri). Oak, thick caramel and butterscotch. Woody baking spices; nutmeg, clove, cinnamon as well as some vanilla and dried fruits.
Palate: Medium mouth feel. Ok this doesn't taste at all as I was expecting, it tastes a lot drier and almost cognac like. Lots of oak and vanilla, plumes of sweet cigar smoke and aromatic pipe tobacco. Dark winter fruits like figs, prunes and raisins. Some caramel pops up, but it's distant and quite restrained. Very complex and it's not a thick, heavy rum.
Finish: Medium. Now the sugar is making it's play, it's flattening the finish and leaving that fuzzy feel on my tongue. Still, the finish is still pleasant with some spice and oak prickle and a lovely smoky note, with some thinned golden syrup.

Sharp sweet sugar cane aroma with a feather tickle of alcohol on the nose. First taste slaps that ass with a sugar cane flavor you find in agricoles but without an overwhelming grassy vegetal taste. Goes down with no alcohol bite on the tongue or in the chest. The back end has a rich burnt sugar flavor that is just shy of being too heavy. Definitely a sweet one, and definitely delicious. I can see going through a whole bottle quickly since its such an easy sipper. Would like a touch more heat though, like some hot candle wax drippings ;) Worth having in your collection because of the sexy ass bottle and that sexy ass flavor.
