Mélange de saveurs fruitées et caramélisées.
Rhum gourmand et très parfumé.
Belle longueur en bouche au final.
Sweeter than i remember though... Will drink again
A Peruvian Solera style rum. Filling the glass from an excellent presented bottle shows a dark Amber/burned caramel color.
Smells of sweet molasses, burned sugar and some notes of sherry. It has a very sweet, oily, creamy kind of texture in the mouth and a taste burned sugar with Little oak and spicy dryness.
Although a very sweet rum, not surprising with the amount of added sugar according to hydro test, it is very smooth with complex notes and à nice finish. It's moorish.
a great choiche
Found this is the local Coop, which was a bit of a surprise, and I think a new line for that store. The packaging reminded me of cheap Sangria, but inside was a rather nice rum which is just about not too sweet (could be too much some days !) and has a slightly spicy slightly toffee almost christmassy taste to it with a nice aftertaste. Will need a second bottle for the definitive statements but it's an easy-drinking firm 7, borderline 8/10.
(edit: downgraded to a 6 as my tasting experiences and palette have developed)
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nice little rum this one. Good value for first time sippers. Very smooth and easy to drink. After trying the xo you can definitely see why this is its baby brother. It carries alot of the same flavour profile at a really good price point. 7 out 10
