Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

To weak and to overpriced in Canada in my opinion.
They should publish all the additives in this drink and it should not bare the Bacardi logo. I recommend do not even try to sip this drink. Mixer without self esteem...is ok...lol

Dobrý spiced rum s nádechem dubového dÅ™eva. Oproti Morganu nechutná jak okena Å™edÄ›ná tuzemákem. Lze pÃt samostatnÄ›, ale dÃky nižšà cenÄ› nenà škoda jej mÃchat s colou atd.
Sweet, lots of vanilla. This isn't meant to be a sipping rum. If you're looking to bring a little more flavour into your rum and coke, I'd start here.
Cheap, consistent, tasty, nice and spicy. I wouldn't turn a glass down any time. I've been drinking this forever when out in town, not great, not terrible - good.

Not a terrible spiced rum has some nice notes and different flavours! Good for price !

Great spiced rum. Not nessesary to drink neat, but in drinks.
Highlights are with cola (Oak'n coke), with hot chocolat (Hot Oakalade), or my favourit shot; oak with a sugar coated lime. Drink the rum, eat the lime.

What can you say for a €13 bottle, better than anything else ive had at the price, including the all hype conquering Capt Morgan ( same price ish..).

I did not expect to enjoy a Bacardi as a sipping rum, so I was pleasantly surprised how smooth it went down on the rocks.

This is another basic spiced rum. Nothing noteable and probably would never purchase for my own collection. Had it in a rum and coke and it was better than well rum, but not anything I would drink every day.

With my hatred to Bacardà itself and it's inferior basic rums, I actually enjoyed this one, when it came to market. With price tag around up to 7 EUR for bottle, it was awesome spiced rum around. The sweet spicy nutmeg cinnamon taste was unbeatable then. But now, with tag 10 EUR and up you can get much better bottles. Not with that intense sweet taste, but with actually better rum. Sometimes I miss Oakenheart, on the rocks, or with cola. But not that much to go and buy a bottle. Still, if you want to get easy reachable spiced rum, and not burn your intestines with Morgan's, but you're still too much wuss to get at least Sailor Jerry, this is excellent choice.
