I feel like this one is overhyped. Nothing special, definitely better options out there.

I wasn't expecting much from a mass produced brand like bacardi but I was happily proven wrong once I tasted this rum. Has a little bit of added sugar which I could do without but it's not excessive.
Has a nice flavour profile with vanilla, caramel, and a little bit of molasses and tobacco shining through.

ok, at first I wasn’t thrilled with this Rum, but after time it’s grown on me and I’m really liking the complexities of it. I do now taste oak, along with spices and a smooth dried fruitiness. It’s not a sweet Rum, at least not in the traditional sense. This isn’t a dessert liquor, but an after steak dinner sit down with a good cigar drinking straight rum. I’ve grown fond of this bottle and I’m really looking forward to replacing my bottle that’s down to a couple drinks left. I originally gave this a 6, but have changed it to an 8. It reminds me of Bourbon which is another love of mine. So anyone who would like a good sipper Rum at a reasonable price, this is a good choice.

This is my first review. I’ve always had rum mixed with other stuff. This is the first that I appreciated by itself. Good for sipping...1 or 2 shot glasses at night. Very smooth compared to other cheaper ones. No bad aftertaste. No harsh flavorings. Just rum pure and simple. Rated only 7 because I haven’t tried others...like higher rated older runs. For me, this is my baseline.

Není špatný, i když značka dalece předchází jeho kvality.

A bit of peppery spice - good for both mixing and sipping

Dark to golden brown colour. Nosing reveals fresh notes of sweetness, vanilla and light milk chocolate married with a touch of tobacco.
Sipped, this rums shows still real sweetness but its more of a young alcohol hit, rather than as a result of excessive dosage. You will also find oak, vanilla, brown sugar and spiciness on the delivery.
These also dominate the extended finish. There are reports that this is a sugar added rum.

In the line of single canes. Good strong rum. Yes not a sipping rum necessary. But if it’s rum, I sip it. In the house collection.

Very decent rum, easy to enjoy neat and on ice. Smooth and much better than the cheaper, standard offerings from Bacardi. Can be good in a mixer too of course. Quite a decent rum for the price.
