But it’s still definitively a 3yo. Very strong oak fades into mild but certain sweetness. Syrupy on the tongue but a bit rough going down. I wouldn’t call it complex, but it’s way beyond a one-trick pony. Not what you’d order to sip, but it can be done with enough pleasure. If you’re looking for a 3yo or 4yo for whatever specific reason, choose this one.
Enjoyed a glass of Ron Parce 3 year old rum with my friend during a 5,000 mile road trip across 18 States. Bottle and label design are quite boring. Golden color. Very strong oak straight to your nose and palate. Very strong and dry burn at the end. For whisky lovers, add 2 points. Or mix it with your favorite soda and down it goes.
