This rum is well balanced and approachable. It’s not as flavorful as an overproof jamaican, but it has at least some depth of flavor from the blend and is extremely smooth. Solid overall rum
This $30 white rum would be perfect if you are an Appleton fan. It has a spicey Jamaican nose with ripe bananas. It can be sipped but would be best in a cocktail. I am a big fan of Plantation rums but a little too much Jamaican funk for me
Decent rum that works very well both as a mixing rum and neat.
Definitely the best white rum in its price range. A must for every bar. Taste like candy in cola. Stand between a mixer and a sipper.
Delicious sweetness. Only had 1 shot so far, but would absolutely have with the barest of other flavorings to let the rum shine thru.
It's pretty sweet with a honey after taste, not bad for basically a blanco/blonde.
I develop my profession in an area where making cocktails (except the mojito) is a rarity seen by most people with distrust. In addition, the rum-based combinations are monopolized by molasses rums of Dominican origin. I must also take into account the final price of the cocktail since the average income of my fellow citizens is clearly not among the highest in my country. All this forces me to be very careful in the selection of cocktails and rums. When I make a cocktail based on Plantation 3 stars I feel confident and my clients certainly notice that I am offering them the best of me and my bar.
Honestly, the only thing we have used this rum for so far is to make mojitos. But they were smooth, tasty and didn't taste like they were made with turpentine.
En trevlig vit rom med mycket smak och doft. Imponerande
Being a denizen of semi-rural Australia I had to mail-order this. Admittedly it's only the third type of white rum I've tried (besides Bacardi, the other is the atrocious Havana Club) but I found it delightful. I don't drink rum straight but this was fantastic in a Mai Tai or with vanilla Coke.
It’s mainly a nose of strong alcohol.
"Initially it sips quite well and is reasonably smooth but it is has a very strong taste when swallowed."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The taste is something like a mixture of quality citrusy floral white rum and a bold dry trinidad rum with a hint of jamaican funk. Is lot bolder than havana club 3 and lacks the quite heavy fruity slightly acidic citrus notes of the havana club.
Is quite basic, bit overrated here, it is good but nothing unique really.
I would bolster this rum with more jamaican pot still rum, and then i could give it a 6
