Burning Barn Smoked

It pours light brown in colour. Aroma is of muscovado with smoke. Flavour has similar and it's not too smoky, just right, with hints of stone fruit too. It's quite sweet and a slightly thin mouthfeel, yet it's not harsh at all.

Purchased a sample from Master of Malt for about £4.

The nose is very much vanilla and strong smoke.

In the mouth this rum is slightly peculiar, the smoke isn't simply from charred oak it's strong applewood maybe reminiscent of a smoke house. It almost like the smoke flavour on applewood smoked cheese. Strange but ok
