Enjoyed a bottle of Ron Bermudez Añejo 5y Rum while vacationing in Las Vegas. Unique and old school bottle and label design. Light golden color. Pure alcohol and plenty of vanilla and oak to the nose and palate. Strong burn at the end. Mix this up with your favorite soda since this is not a neat sipper rum.

Much liked darkish colour of rum, this one was quite heavy after first shot, the flavour was very nervous with a strong taste of alcohol.... was expecting a bit rum-like taste. For mixed drinks probably ok, but never drink as a shot. Personally, good experience which taste is not my favourite.

Just tried this on a whim. Cost $16 for the 750 ml. Just picked up a 1 liter bottle for $20. This one surprised me. Certainly the best 5 year old I've had to date. Tastes as good as some 8 year olds I've had. Sweetness is about perfect for me which is on the drier side of medium sweet. Plenty of flavor including the usual suspects such as caramel, butterscotch, a little oak spiciness, and some dried fruit. There is a little burn on the way down but nothing that detracts from the enjoyment. I actually don't mind a bit of burn, this is alcohol after all. Many of you will probably prefer this mixed and I'm sure it will be very good for that use but I have absolutely no problem drinking it neat. Great Everyday Rum. Great Value.
