Plantation Original Dark Double Aged Trinidad & Jamaica

For the prices this is the best rum, it feel and taste high-quality. My first thought after sipping this was of a warm Christmas

A nice aged rum, not very expensive. Very sweet, but not overwhelming. Sugar taste, with a little oak; not very smooth, but not so much alcohol either. It’s great if you’re a beginner in sipping aged rum. Not a masterpiece I have to say, but surely a great rum for a beginner in sipping top quality rums. This is great at it's price. Vanilla, caramel, oak and some exotic spices.

A beautiful presentation, in addition to a beautiful story told on the label. The rum is very interesting and I certainly recommend it.

Smooth, sweet and strong taste of overripe exotic fruits. I like it neat and my girl too. She immediately said: ,,This one's different. But it's interesting taste." (last time I poured her ElDorado12 which she liked a lot). Guess it's good intro into jamaican funk for newcomers in the rum world.

First impressions of this were pretty positive, smooth going down, no burn, heavy on that moist mouth feel. The warm tones of this rum really pair well in a mix cocktail with fruit juice being the main component. Would for sure recommend for those wanting a great base rum.

This is my favorite rum to use in a Mai Tai along with Myers Dark rum. I would call it more of a gold rum than a dark rum. Goes on sale every now and then for $16.95. Can’t beat that. Very smooth and perfect in tiki cocktails when a gold rum is called for.

Good choice for dark mixing rum. Price is good, quality is average, however do the job for mixing. It'a bit harsh to drink it neat

Solid in almost all cases. Can't go wrong with it. But, as jack of all trades, it's simple and solid, not great in any way.
