Good value, a classic rum perfect for a Cuba Libre!
A medium amber colour and light on the nose with a touch of alcohol. Smooth enough to be sipped with a balanced dry taste. It makes a great rum and coke, or any other mixed drink. Only $29 at LCBO makes it a great value.
A good rum, and a step up or two from Captain Morgan.
This rum is nice as a companion to a cerveza or as a mixer. Better than the similar offering in Canada from Appleton, Captain Morgan and Bacardi.
just mix it with coca cola a slice of lemon and lets party.
Nope, this need serious improvement.
But still hopefull.
Too bitter and less taste for my kind.
Nice dark rum for cocktails or even as a βshotβ Price difference to 7 years old is so small that I would rather got for the 7.
This is a decent mixer and perfect for Coke and a slice of lime over ice.
Its a good rum for the cubas libres, but I could be a better rum.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This entry is not really for drinking neat, but to add to cocktails and rum drinks. The smooth flavor is starting to get there, but the flavors are just floating around and the complexity is somewhat lacking causing the rum to not have a voice or a niche.
Heat from the oak and the alcohol, combined with the fact that this rum doesnβt really have a distinction or character that truly describes it.
Good to have in your bar as it is cheap. If you can find it and buy it, what the heck...get it, especially if your in the States. We canβt get Cuban Rums here only if we get it in the Caribbean, other countries, Cuba, on cruise ships, planes, or have friend buy you bottles when the go someplace that sells Cuban rums or Cigars.
