not bad, good for relaxing
It is fine mixed, but straight up this just isn't very smooth or complex. I wouldn't buy this again unless it was at least $10 less. Only fit for mixing. Better options for the price.
I could certainly employ this rum as a middle-ground, average rubric by which to measure others; are they better, are they worse? But in itself the Havana Club Anejo Reserva is neither particularly outstanding nor, thankfully, particularly bad. Maybe I'll revisit it in future and update this but, for now, it's rum, it's average, whatcha gonna do?
Dobrý priemerný rum, hoci sa dá piť aj samotný, ale na mňa dosť alkoholový. Uprednostnil by som ho ako súčasť miešaných drinkov, najlepšie do Cuba Libre.
I expected more from this rum in this awkward bottle. But the content turned out to be equal to the form. Dull taste and bitter aftertaste ruined the whole impression. If you want a Havana rum club, better buy Especial or 3 year old.
P.S. The description says that this rum was not originally intended for the public, but reserved for Don Navarro. Apparently Mr. Navarro tried this rum and agreed with me about his taste. Rum poured into hastily made beer bottles and thrown into the market.
More aged but same bad taste, sometime I can drink it if not more rums on the place, its very dry and have no deep taste
Might be good for mixing but that’s not our thing. Much prefer a good sipper, which this is not. Not bad, just prefer something more complex. Mix away!
En af mine gode rom til cocktail og især mojito :)
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A very average light mixing rum
